This innovative saw guide is designed for squaring-off boards, cutting miters, and similar applications. It is intented for use with Japanese Kataba saws (no reinforced back) with blade thicknesses of 0.4 to 0.6 mm. The miter and inclination angle are fully adjustable from 45 to 90 degrees in both directions. The precision body made of galvanized steel and the accurate positioning fence allow straight, clean cuts to be made. Wide boards can be cut perfectly with the help of the parallel sliding fence. The angle gauge and dummy blade included allow the angle to be set with a high degree of accuracy. Maintainance and Care: Do not allow the saws teeth to come in contact with the guide plate as this may cause damage to the teeth. Do not overtighten the fixing screws or knob handle, as this may cause damage to the threads. Use smooth, even strokes and little downward pressure to the truest cuts. Occasionly oil the moving parts of the angle bracket to ensure proper function. Suitable Saws: Any backless Japanese saw (Kataba), with a blade thickness of between 0.4 and 0.6 mm. and a blade width of at least 50 mm. Saw NOT included.
